In the end,

Dreaming open-eyed...

Every lesson the 'World' teaches us, every Holy book, every set of these... These seemingly perfect 'rules' that have been set for us by all of them drives us more into the system, doesn't it? Study throughout your childhood, read from books that are never going to get you anywhere beyond that one system it is intended for. Graduate, have sex, get a job, socialize, go to pompous clubs and be a gold-class member, drink, have kids, buy stuff, buy more stuff, pose... Die. there's an unending list of drama that we act everyday. Some are good actors at smiling while others are at crying. Some keep their shirts pressed, nails clean and spit at a less fortunate being. Some kill. And each and every actor is chained in there- in that monstrous clockwork that we know by the name the 'World'.
Where did freedom die for the humankind? Where did it die forever? Have you ever had a feeling to let go and walk away into "nothingness" as defined by the world? Be at peace with yourself... Be free... Fly away... Watch the sunset... Sleep in the mud under the rain... Eat a fruit plucked out of a low hanging tree... Bathe in a river... Take a dump in the bush... Walk naked... Make love to someone like you mean it... Kiss... Smile... Laugh... Sing... How would it feel to just snap out of your tether and float over hills and valleys like a kite?
Well... It's all just a dream, ain't it? There are too many chains that we're tied with. If you break everything else the World ties you with the strongest bonds. There's a stupid heart that would cheat you with obligations and duties that you need to fulfill. I most probably would and fail there at that. Duties...
Sigh...

INEVITABILITY

Authority (wearing a black cloak and holding a whiplash in his hands) roars in a high pitch: "I will break you, mere human... I will taste your blood by chaining you in every way possible. I will limit your wages, put burden on your shoulders that you can never carry... I will crush you under my weight. I will beat you with my club studded with caste, religion, race and colour. I will push you again and again into the mire and sewers where you will stink forever... Into the blackest black stinking water of poverty and pennilessness... "

The Commoner: "Aye, sir! So be it."

Authority: "I will rip you off everything that you hold dear. I will never give you anything that you desire. I will lead your family astray. I will break it into a thousand pieces. I will steal the very smile off your face and make you go numb from the core. I will rape your women... I will tie you to a tether and watch them burn in misery and helplessness. I will wash your face with their blood and tears."

The Commoner: "Aye, sir! So be it."

Authority: "I will leave you in the streets to rot in living hell. You will try hard to cry, but never will a drop of tear remain in your eyes to flow down and soothe you. And when I have completely, entirely broken you, I will drag you in the dirt under my feet and strip you off your clothes and your very own daily bread... I will cut your intestines and stomach..."

The Commoner: "You threaten me with my most basic animal instinct, sir... Know your limits..."

...And there, the inevitable started.

തുടര്‍ന്ന് സ്വാഗതപ്രസംഗം

സ്കൂള്‍ കാലത്തെ നഷ്ടപ്രണയങ്ങളെ സ്മരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ചില ഓള്‍ഡ്‌ കാമുകീകാമുകന്മാര്‍ നയിക്കുന്നു.

തുടര്‍ന്ന് ജൂഡോ, കരാട്ടെ, കളരിപ്പയറ്റ്, നാടന്‍ തല്ലു പ്രകടനം

മേല്‍പ്പറഞ്ഞ കാമുകീകാമുകന്മാരുടെ ഭാര്യാഭര്‍ത്താക്കന്മാര്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്നു.

ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് പണ്ഡിതന്‍ ശ്യാം നമ്മളെ സ്പോക്കെന്‍ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് പഠിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. മൌനമായി സംസാരിക്കാനുള്ള കഴിവും അദ്ദേഹം പകര്‍ന്നു തരുന്നതായിരിക്കും.

2.30-നു വചനപ്രഘോഷണം

(മുന്‍) റവ. ഫാ. ഒലിവേറോ നയിക്കുന്ന ധ്യാനം നമ്മെ സ്വര്‍ഗ്ഗീയാനുഭൂതിയിലേക്ക് നയിക്കുന്നു. (പരിപാടികള്‍ക്ക് ശേഷം കുമ്പസാരം കേള്‍ക്കാന്‍ അദ്ദേഹം തയ്യാറായിരിക്കും)

ജ്ഞാനപീഠപുരസ്കാരം ലഭിച്ച തന്റെ കവിത പ്രശസ്ത ഊഡായിപ്പ്... (ക്ഷമിക്കണം) പ്രശസ്ത കവി ലൈജു അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

3.30-നു നന്ദിപ്രസംഗവും പ്രഭാഷണവും

പ്രശസ്ത പ്രാസംഗികനും ഫിലോസഫറുമായ അനീഷ്‌ നന്ദി പറയുന്നു. ഒപ്പം, “ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ കഴിഞ്ഞു പോയ സുവര്‍ണ്ണ കാലഘട്ടം-ടീനേജ്” എന്ന വിഷയത്തെപ്പറ്റി സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.

4.00-നു ചായയും കടിയും

കടിക്കാന്‍ എസ്ദാസിന്റെ വീട്ടിലെ പട്ടിയെ ഏര്‍പ്പാടാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

തൂവാല കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ടതാണ്. എന്റെ തൂവാല കടം ചോദിച്ചാല്‍ അമ്മച്ചിയാണേ, എന്റെ വായിലെ തെറി കേള്‍ക്കും.
